Amber is a youth services librarian in a small, rural library in the Midwest. She is also a marketing consultant and loves when literacy and marketing collide. Before entering the world of librarianship, she worked in the publishing industry in marketing and customer experience roles. She earned her undergraduate degree in journalism/strategic communication and political science from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. Her master’s in information and library science is from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN.
She is a happy mom to a toddler, a puggle, and a coop full of chickens. She loves her husband too.
She started Let’s Talk Library to keep her library, literacy, and marketing thoughts and stories in one place. The views here are her own, and do not necessarily represent the views of her colleagues or employers.
